Sherborne Douzelage Young Musicians Competition 14 February 2026
Sherborne Douzelage held a highly successful Young Musicians Competition in 2020, which was immediately followed by Covid lockdowns. At last we are now able to hold another event. Sherborne Douzelage, in conjunction with all the schools in the Sherborne area, will be hosting a Young Musicians Competition on 14 February 2026 at the Gransden Hall, The Merritt Centre, Sherborne Girls School.
There will also be a few entrants from some of our member towns across Europe, which should make a very interesting meeting.
Finalists will take part in a concert in the evening and the overall winner will take part in the Sherborne Abbey Music Festival in May.
All young musicians in the Sherborne area are welcome to apply, so if you have an interest please contact Dr Rachel Milestone milestoner@leweston.dorset.sch.uk as soon as possible.
