A BBQ was held in the garden of Treasurer, Clifton Jelbert to celebrate Jeremy’s retirement from Douzelage
Jeremy’s Celebration Party 28th June: The day was hot and sunny. Jeremy was very pleased to meet Douzelage friends, including Cezary & Ada, Shane and Joe, as well as the local committees. Gifts were given to Jeremy amid thanks for his Douzelage vision. Food, drink and conversation flowed through the afternoon and was enjoyed by everyone.
Jeremy has decided to step down as Chairman of Sherborne Douzelage after 33 years of devoted and conscientious work. His vision for Douzelage has never dimmed and he hopes the organisation will continue to grow.
Jeremy is a founder member of Douzelage and the committee felt we should mark his time with a celebration.
Jeremy will remain an Hon. President and may attend a few more events. It is his hope to meet as many of his friends a few more times.
